Bespoke Order

Student Tom has been a valued student at Minerva for 20 years and is now capable of many small DIY projects. He has grown enormously in confidence and ability largely due to our one-to-one input from our fabulous volunteer teachers. Tom is busy applying paint, provided by the customer, of a small bespoke table; a skill he is now adept at with very little supervision. The materials used were purchased locally and the table itself was constructed under the guidance of Josephine, our woodwork teacher, who is available every Friday to teach woodworking techniques, small DIY projects and furniture restoration.

Free woodwork taster sessions are available every Friday for those interested in joining Minerva’s friendly and supportive workshop.
