Freemasons Walk Completed
On Sunday 27 & Monday 28 July, four members of the Hextoldesham Freemasons group took part in a 42 mile sponsored walk over the two days to raise money for the Minerva Arts Centre.
The route started at Lanercost and finished at Chesters near Chollerford. The group took about 73,000 steps on what can be described as a fairly demanding walk!
The money pledged has not been collected yet but the group are already talking about running a race night in November to raise more money for Minerva, plus a possible golf tournament in the autumn.
